Former FM blames US attempt to dictate for talks failure

TEHRAN, Apr. 12 (MNA) – Mohammad Javad Zarif, the former Iranian Foreign Minster of Iran has blamed the failure of Islamabad talks on the US side's attempts to dictate its excessive demands on Iran.

Zarif wrote in a post on his X account on Sunday to react to the failure of the Islamabad talks between Iranian and American delegations in reaching a deal on Sunday”
“Want to know why negotiations did not succeed?
JD Vance: "they have chosen not to accept our terms."
Bingo.
-No negotiations – at least with Iran – will succeed based on "our/your terms."
The US must learn: you can't dictate terms to Iran.
It's not too late to learn. Yet.”
